Dificultades para aprender o dificultades para enseñar

Abstract

El presente ensayo intenta abordar el problema de las dificultades en el aprendizaje como provenientes de las dificultades para enseñar que pueden presentarse dentro del aula. Se plantea que dichas dificultades pueden deberse a la utilización de métodos de enseñanza inadecuados que no permiten tener en cuenta los diferentes ritmos, estilos y estrategias de aprendizaje propias de cada niño. Se presenta el "Trabajo por Proyectos" como un tipo de metodología que a) permite el aprendizaje en forma conjunta de niños con diferentes estilos y ritmos de aprendizaje, b) respeta las diferencias individuales de los estudiantes, y c) impide la categorización de los niños dentro del aula como niños con dificultades para aprender. Estas características son ejemplificadas a través de un proyecto denominado insectario con niños entre 7 y 9 años.
