Abstract

El presente artículo es producto de una revisión documental que analizó 50 artículos de investigación cuyo sustento teórico fuera la teoría de las Representaciones Sociales de Sergei Moscovici. Los artículos fueron publicados entre el 2018 – 2023 en la base de datos Web of Science. El 76% de los estudios se desarrollaron en el continente americano, un 20% en el continente europeo y un 4% en el continente africano. En cuanto a la temática de la investigación el 70% de los artículos se sitúan en el campo de la educación, un 14% de ellos a problemas económicos y sociopolíticos, un 8% a perspectivas teóricas y otro 8% a temas relacionados con el ciclo vital. El análisis de los artículos de investigación nos puso en evidencia que el 78% de las investigaciones revisadas tuvieron lugar en el sur geolocalizado; es decir, en países latinoamericanos y africanos, ésta ubicación geoespacial nos hizo preguntarnos sobre la importancia de las RS para los países del sur, ¿por qué la teoría de las RS le hace tanto sentido a los países del sur geolocalizado, incluso más que a los países del norte de la cual proviene en términos de geolocalización pero también de concepción epistemológica?
