Abstract

The importance of psychological aspects of somatic diseases is increasingly discussed in the scientific literature. The current state of biopsychosocial model of the health and disease means that understanding the etiology of the disease, the treatment method should be conditioned by many factors: psychological, environmental and social. The first part of the work is a review. In the second part of the article, based on own research, author presented the role of psychological stress on the example of a cardiological disease. The aim of the article is to present the topic of psychological stress, place it in the biopsychosocial model of health and disease, with particular emphasis on hypertensive heart disease.

Znaczenie psychologicznych aspektów chorób somatycznych jest coraz częściej dostrzegane w literaturze naukowej. Aktualność biopsychospołecznego modelu zdrowia i choroby sprawia, że zrozumienie etiologii choroby, sposób leczenia powinny być uwarunkowane wieloma czynnikami: psychologicznymi, środowiskowymi, a także społecznymi. Pierwsza część artykułu ma charakter przeglądowy. W drugiej części tekstu, na podstawie badań własnych, pokazano rolę stresu psychologicznego na przykładzie choroby kardiologicznej. Celem artykułu jest przybliżenie tematyki stresu psychologicznego, umiejscowienie go w biopsychospołecznym modelu zdrowia i choroby, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem choroby nadciśnieniowej.
