The paper analyzes the structure of hagioanthroponyms of Serbian saints in the Russian and Serbian languages using a comparative method. Material for analysis are the hagioanthroponyms from the calendars of the Serbian and Russian Orthodox churches. The structure and composition of these hagioanthroponyms in the two languages differ in many ways. Not all the rules for transcription of Serbian anthroponyms and other lexemes in the structure of the hagioanthroponyms in Russian are followed.
