Abstract

La production d’un transport routier de marchandises en 1997 est significative de la relation qui s’établit entre flux informationnels et fonctionnement territorial. Effectivement, le transport routier de marchandises «consomme » de l’espace (surface au sol ) et nécessite la constitution de réseaux informationnels (maîtrise des frets) dont les capacités ont été considéra¬ blement accrues par la radiotéléphonie. L’équipement des camions en téléphone contribue de façon décisive à l’intensification de la relation entre ces deux espaces (physique et virtuel). Après avoir, dans une première section, présenté le géoespace et le cyberespace des trm, nous dévelop¬ perons dans une deuxième section quelques cas d’entreprises de transport routier pour lesquelles le radiotéléphone représente un outil informationnel indispensable, mais dont l’appropriation par les acteurs diffère selon les conditions socio-économiques de production. Dans la troisième et dernière section, nous soulignerons le rôle stratégique du répartiteur, élément-clé de la relation entre les deux espaces.
