Abstract

Au cours de nos enquêtes en cours sur les champignons sur le bois submergé dans la sous-région du Grand Mékong, nous avons collecté deux nouvelles espèces similaires à Bactrodesmium longisporum. Pseudobactrodesmium est introduit pour accueillir la nouvelle espèce et P. longisporum est transféré à ce genre. Des conidiophores fasciculés, des cellules conidiogènes entéroblastiques et des conidies subulées ou fusiformes, phragmoseptées avec une cellule apicale effilée et une gaine caractérisent le genre. Pseudobactrodesmium aquaticum a des conidies plus longues que P. chiangmaiensis. Le placement de Pseudobactrodesmium chez les Dactylosporaceae (Eurotiomycètes) est une nouvelle découverte basée sur des analyses de données combinées de séquences LSU, SSU, ITS et RPB2. Les espèces nommées Bactrodesmium longisporum dans GenBank semblent représenter d'autres espèces sans nom, ce qui indique que Pseudobactrodesmium est probablement un genre spécifique avec différentes espèces dans les cours d'eau du monde entier.

Durante nuestros estudios en curso de hongos en madera sumergida en la subregión del Gran Mekong, recolectamos dos nuevas especies similares a Bactrodesmium longisporum. Se introduce Pseudobactrodesmium para dar cabida a la nueva especie y se transfiere P. longisporum a este género. Conidióforos fasciculados, células conidiógenas enteroblásticas y conidios subulados o fusiformes, fragmoseptados con una célula apical y una vaina que se estrechan caracterizan el género. Pseudobactrodesmium aquaticum tiene conidios más largos que P. chiangmaiensis. La colocación de Pseudobactrodesmium en Dactylosporaceae (Eurotiomycetes) es un hallazgo novedoso basado en análisis de datos combinados de secuencias de LSU, SSU, ITS y RPB2. La especie llamada Bactrodesmium longisporum en GenBank parece representar otras especies sin nombre, lo que indica que es probable que Pseudobactrodesmium sea un género de especies con diferentes especies en arroyos de todo el mundo.

During our ongoing surveys of fungi on submerged wood in the Greater Mekong Subregion, we collected two new species similar to Bactrodesmium longisporum. Pseudobactrodesmium is introduced to accommodate the new species and P. longisporum is transferred to this genus. Fasciculate conidiophores, enteroblastic conidiogenous cells and subulate or fusiform, phragmoseptate conidia with a tapering apical cell and sheath characterizes the genus. Pseudobactrodesmium aquaticum has longer conidia than P. chiangmaiensis. The placement of Pseudobactrodesmium in Dactylosporaceae (Eurotiomycetes) is a novel finding based on analyses of combined LSU, SSU, ITS and RPB2 sequence data. Species named Bactrodesmium longisporum in GenBank appear to represent other unnamed species, indicating that Pseudobactrodesmium is likely to be a speciose genus with different species in streams around the world.
