La eficiencia de las universidades públicas estatales e interculturales en México

Abstract

En este trabajo de investigación se realizó la evaluación de eficiencia de 41 Instituciones de Educación Superior(IES) de México, de las cuales 31 son Universidades Públicas Estatales (UPES) y 10 UniversidadesInterculturales (UI) en el año 2014 y 2018, mediante la metodología de Análisis Envolvente de Datos (DEA) conrendimientos variables a escala (VRS) y orientación output, se realizó además un análisis benchmarking y unanálisis de holguras. Para darle robustez a los resultados se instrumentó la técnica boostrap y para la selección delas variables se utilizó el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson con el cual, después de aplicarlo, los inputs quequedaron en el modelo fueron matrícula, docentes, programas académicos, profesores en el SNI y subsidio y losoutputs alumnos titulados, convenios y programas acreditados. De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos, seobservó que las DMU presentan una ineficiencia en el año 2014 de 38% y en el año 2018 de 33%, lo que reeja undesempeño aceptable de las mismas.
