Consumo, felicità e capitale sociale

Abstract

Il saggio analizza il rapporto tra nuovi modelli di consumo e capitale sociale. In particolare viene analizzato il ruolo del consumerismo socialmente responsabile nella produzione di capitale sociale, quel capitale capace di produrre fiducia e reciprocita sociale allargata. L’ipotesi teorica che viene proposta e quella che i consumatori attraverso le azioni di consumo creino reti di interazione sociale, fiducia, e consapevoli dell’impronta ecologica, sociale, culturale ed economica rivendicano il diritto a poter esercitare stili di vita sostenibili, secondo un modello di felicita intersoggettivamente intesa.
