Pengaruh Perlakuan Panas dan Deformasi Panas Pada Perilaku Partikel Penguat-MMC

Abstract

<p>Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, penelitian tentang morfologi dan distribusi dari partikel penguat pada MMC sangat diminati karena terjadi suatu perdebatan dimana komposit dengan distribusi partikel jaringan memiliki kekuatan yang lebih baik dari distribusi merata. Perlakuan panas memiliki peran penting terhadap morfologi dan mendistibusikan ulang penguat partikel dipermukaan matriks yang bertujuan memperbaiki kekuatan mekanik dari komposit. Perlakuan panas pada komposit dapat menyebabkan penguat partikel tumbuh menjadi lebih besar dengan bentuk yang berbeda dan merubah distribusi partikel pada permukaan matriks yang berakibat menurunnya kekuatan mekanik. Oleh karena itu deformasi panas digunakan untuk mencegah terjadinya pertumbuhan partikel. deformasi panas juga memiliki peran untuk merubah struktur jaringan dari pola distribusi penguat partikel.</p>
