Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kendali mutu produk pada penentuan diameter luar ulir baja karbon St. 37. Alat ukur OPP (Optik Profil Proyektor) dengan tingkat kepresisian 0,01 mm digunakan untuk mengukur 23 sampel baut M 12 yang selanjutnya di analisis dengan metode statistik yang dituangkan dalam bentuk peta kendali proses dan histogram yang dilanjutkan dengan analisis proses dan analisis masalah. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa semua hasil pengukuran yang diperoleh berada dalam batas kendali normal yaitu batas kendali atas (BKA) dan batas kendali bawah (BKB) sehingga tidak perlu dilakukan tindakan pemberhentian produksi. Bentuk histogram yang terjadi dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis normal yang mengindikasikan bahwa proses kendali mutu terhadap produksi ini berjalan secara normal.
