La conflictividad social en la región Ucayali

Abstract

Políticamente hablando, Ucayali viene experimentando una reducción en la participación de su población en procesos electorales, sin embargo, un movimiento regional se ha constituido en el principal actor político. Socialmente, existen grandes brechas relativas al suministro de servicios básicos y saneamiento; y, últimamente, la delincuencia viene ganando terreno. La Región se encuentra en una etapa de recuperación a raíz de la pandemia Covid-19, la cual viene siendo sostenida por las actividades comercial y agrícola. Ante esta situación, las autoridades estatales y la sociedad civil abordan los conflictos y protestas mediante estrategias de negociación y diálogo. Estos enfoques buscan influir en la conflictividad social y han generado diversas expectativas sobre la democracia, los partidos políticos y la situación económica. El futuro económico de Ucayali es incierto, debido a su falta de dinamismo. Sin embargo, se identifican hitos para entender la realidad de la región y establecer espacios de diálogo social y político.
