La conflictividad social en la región Loreta

Abstract

La población de Loreto, su territorio y sus instituciones enfrentan principalmente problemas sociales, políticos, económicos y ambientales que se manifiestan en el incremento de la pobreza, el desempleo, la corrupción, la criminalidad, y la destrucción de sus bosques, afectando seriamente su desarrollo. También es un factor relevante la falta de confianza de la ciudadanía en sus autoridades debido a la limitada capacidad de gestión evidenciada y los frecuentes y graves casos de corrupción e impunidad que se registran, y que impactan en la institucionalidad regional. El informe de investigación busca analizar y explicar la conflictividad social en la región, e identificar las principales problemáticas, estimular el diálogo democrático para generar soluciones a estos problemas. Se basa en una investigación que abarca un periodo de cinco años (2019-2023) e incluye revisión de fuentes documentales, bases de datos oficiales, y entrevistas presenciales y virtuales con actores estatales, del sector privado y de la sociedad civil, tanto en Loreto como en Lima.
