Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo central a análise do processo de ocupação das terras e construção da riqueza no sul de Goiás, entre os anos de 1835 e 1910. A pesquisa apoia-se, principalmente, na análise e interpretação de inventários post-mortem e no cruzamento de informações de registros de casamentos, relatórios de presidentes de Província/Estado e relatos de viajantes e memorialistas.
