Abstract

A demanda da escrita em inglês no cenário global tem crescido exponencialmente, impondo a necessidade de seu ensino com qualidade no Brasil. Esta obra investiga o ensino da escrita em inglês no nível avançado de uma escola de inglês. A pesquisa revela a disparidade entre as práticas declaradas e as efetivamente observadas. A escrita se torna crucial para o desenvolvimento profissional e acadêmico, logo, não promover seu ensino pode ser culminar na negação de participação global e desenvolvimento econômico.
