Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika melalui meta-analisis. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah meta-analisis dengan sampel sebanyak 16 artikel pada jurnal nasional yang berada di wilayah sulawesi tenggara tepatnya 4 wilayah yang menjadi sampel penelitian yaitu wilayah kendari, kolaka, muna dan butur. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan sampel data sekunder dimana sampelnya yang digunakan yaitu data hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Penelitian meta-analisis ini memperoleh nilai effect size yang beragam dimana nilai effect sizenya berada pada rentang efek besar dan terdapat 1 artikel yang berada pada rentang efek kecil namun tidak mempengaruhi variabel kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yang diteliti. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh nilai rata-rata effect size sebesar 1,301134, nilai ini tergolong dalam kategori efek besar sebagaimana kriteria hasil effect size. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika tergolong efektif.
