Muzyka w postmodernizmie

Abstract

Autorka artykułu omawia formy postmodernizmu w muzyce. Według niej, Wagner był pierwszą wielką postacią modernizmu w muzyce. Zainicjował dążenie po przezwyciężeniu systemu tonalnego, który obowiązywał w muzyce od połowy XVIII wieku. Po etapach eksperymentalnych, muzyczne drogi modernizmu ulegają wyczerpaniu. Minimalizm jest pierwszą reakcją na modernizm. Minimalizm zaliczany jest do postmodernistycznych nurtów muzycznych. Polega na powtarzaniu fragmentów danego utworu. W postmodernizmie reinterpretuje się utwory historycznych kompozytorów. Autorka opisuje różne rodzaje postmodernizmu w muzyce współczesnej i podaje przykłady takich.
