Abstract

Keterampilan berbahasa terdiri atas 4 aspek, yakni keterampilan mendengarkan (menyimak), berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Menulis merupakan salah satu jenis keterampilan berbahasa yang bersifat produktif. Keterampilan menulis dapat dikatakan sebagai keterampilan berbahasa yang paling rumit di antara jenis-jenis keterampilan berbahasa lainnya. Hal Ini karena keterampilan menulis bukanlah hanya sekadar menyalin kata-kata dan kalimat-kalimat, namun juga mengembangkan dan menuangkan pikiran dan gagasan dalam suatu struktur tulisan yang teratur. Pada zaman yang serba modern saat ini keterampilan menulis sangat dibutuhkan untuk berkomunikasi. Menulis dipergunakan oleh orang yang terpelajar untuk mencatat, merekam, menyakinkan, melaporkan, memberitahukan, dan mempengaruhi. Berbagai jenis keterampilan menulis merupakan satu kesatuan yang berjenjang yang harus dikuasai. Salah satunya adalah keterampilan menulis resensi. Dengan menulis sebuah resensi seesorang dapat mengekspresikan gagasan atau pendapat,pemikiran, dan perasaan yang dimilikinya. Selain itu, dengan menulis seseorang dapat mengembangkan daya pikir dan kreativitasnya dalam sebuah tulisan yang dapat bermanfaat bagi orang lain dan untuk dirinya sendiri. Untuk itu pada pembahasan kali ini dijabarkan bagaimana cara meningkatkan keterampilam menulis seseorang melalui kegiatan meresensi buku. Dalam pembahasan ini juga membicarakan tentang pengertian resensi, struktur resensi, manfat menulis resensi, prinsip-prinsip dasar dan langkah langkah menulis sebuah resesi.
