Abstract

Atom dan molekul dalam pengajaran kimia di sekolah biasanya tidak dikaitkan dengan agama tertentu Al-Qur'an, sehingga seolah-olah atom dan molekul yang dipelajari adalah ilmu yang terpisah dan tidak ada hubungannya dengan Al-Qur'an. Untuk menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur'an adalah pedoman bagi umat manusia, termasuk mempelajari ilmu-ilmu alam termasuk kimia, penulis ingin mengkaji masalah atom dan molekul berbasis kimia dan perspektif Al-Qur'an yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengertian atom dan molekul menurut pengertiannya. konsep kimia dan al-Qur'an, aspek-aspek apa yang terkandung dalam al-Qur'an yang dapat dijadikan pedoman dalam pembelajaran atom dan molekul. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepustakaan (Library Research) yaitu mempelajari Al Quran dan mempelajari buku bacaan, jurnal, buku ajar, kamus, dan karya ilmiah. Dari kajian-kajian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur'an pertama kali menjelaskan konsep atom dan molekul serta bagian-bagiannya dan di dalam Al-Qur'an terdapat konsep atom dan molekul yang sejalan dengan konsep-konsep kimia yang dikemukakan oleh para ahli kimia.
