Progress in the Standardization of Stains Stain Specifications

Abstract

It was pointed out in this journal a few years ago (French 1926)1 that government departments have a practical problem involved in assigning specifications for stains which is quite different from that which the Stain Commission has been trying to meet. Two conferences have been held within the last six months which seem likely to harmonize the two points of view and secure close cooperation in the matter in the future.
