MODELOS PREDICTIVOS DE LA PRODUCCIÓN DE HONGOS SILVESTRES COMESTIBLES EN BOSQUES DE CONÍFERAS, TLAXCALA, MÉXICO

Abstract

La producción de los hongos silvestres en condiciones naturales está determinada por la biología de cada taxón, la conformación de las dimensiones del arbolado presente en los rodales donde se desarrollan, así como por los elementos edáficos y climatológicos propios de sus hábitats. Conocer con precisión las particularidades ecológicas y dasométricas de los sitios de recolecta de hongos permite asociar su productividad tanto con dichos componentes, como con la fisiografía de los bosques. Por ello, se llevó a cabo un estudio de monitoreo de los macromicetos comestibles durante tres temporadas de lluvias (2004-2006) en tres localidades ubicadas en los municipios de Tlaxco, Terrenate y Nanacamilpa pertenecientes al estado de Tlaxcala. En cada sitio se establecieron 10 parcelas de muestreo de 33 x 33 m (1,089 m2), dentro de las cuales se registraron datos ambientales; además del número y peso de esporomas por especie y las características dasométricas del arbolado; se generaron modelos de regresión para definir la posible relación entre dichas variables Se identificaron 153 especies de hongos silvestres comestibles, cuya producción total fue equivalente a 193.688 kg. Los resultados indican que la producción total fúngica se puede predecir a partir del número de árboles presentes, su altura, diámetro normal y cobertura, así como de información precisa de temperatura y de precipitación media anual correspondiente al periodo considerado en el muestreo.
