Abstract

Resumen: La aplicación y uso de TIC’s en la administración de justicia ha recibido múltiples y variadas denominaciones: justicia electrónica, e-justicia, justicia en línea, ciberjusticia, justicia telemática, justicia remota, justicia a distancia, justicia digital, etc., sin que hoy en día exista un concepto universalmente aceptado para referirse a ella; lo más grave es que tales denominaciones en muchas ocasiones son utilizadas como sinónimos. Este problema terminológico se toma muy a la ligera y es algo en lo que la doctrina debería ocuparse para lograr su unificación. Este artículo intentará contribuir a ello, además de explicar los conceptos fundamentales de este fenómeno jurídico bajo la óptica de una nueva dimensión del derecho procesal.
