Abstract

Le site de Taraschina (commune de Maliuc, département de Tulcea) est principalement connu pour ses découvertes datées de l’Énéolithique et ses nouvelles contributions à l’étude de la formation et de l’évolution du delta du Danube. Bien que les vestiges attribués aux périodes historiques ne soient pas nombreux, ils témoignent de fréquentations épisodiques au cours de la Protohistoire, de l’Antiquité et du Moyen-Âge. Parmi l'ensemble des vestiges postérieurs à la période Énéolithique, deux objets pourraient être datés de l’âge du Fer (fig. 1). Ils ont été découverts dans des unités stratigraphiques individualisées à faible profondeur, sous la surface du sol. Ces pièces correspondent à des découvertes isolées, nullement associées à quelques structures archéologique que ce soit.
