Abstract

A taquicardia ventricular (TV) é rara na criança sem patologia cardíaca. Os autores apresentam o caso clínico de um lactente de 5 meses de idade com vómitos persistentes que determinaram importante desequilíbrio electrolítico e terapêutica com cisapride associada a cimetidina. Desenvolveu taquicardia ventricular polimorfa seguida de fibrilhação ventricular. Recuperou após manobras de reanimação cardiorrespiratória, cardioversão externa e administração de lidocaína.
