Abstract

Os autores fazem a revisão de quatro casos de gastrosquisis que ocorreram no Hospital de Santa Maria durante o período de 1989 a 1993. Apenas numdos casos foi feito o diagnóstico prénatal. Os outros elementos encontrados, nomeadamente os referentes à idade e paridade das mães, ao peso ao nascer,à ausência de malformações associadas, ao tipo de complicações encontradas, à utilização da nutrição parentérica e entérica estão de acordo com os daliteratura e reforçam o bom prognóstico actual destas situações.
