ABSTRACTSuccessful well completions are the key to exploiting the potential benefits of high angle/horizontal drilling. Successful primary cementing is vital to completion success. Cementing success is often jeopardized by the wellbore created during the drilling process. This paper unfolds this dilemma and takes a look at what must be done to overcome it.
