El estudio optimiza el logro de rendimiento académico mediante las variables: grado escolar, el tipo de recreo y el tiempo de interrupción de clases. Mediante un método cuantitativo, longitudinal, experimental y superficial de respuesta de diseño compuesto central en orden de 26 corridas, con puntos axiales y centrales (-1,0,1). Sus resultados indican valores óptimos de logro de rendimiento académico (92,8%) cuando aplica recreos de mente plena con parámetros de interrupciones cada 44.84 minutos en los grados de estudio segundo y tercero de secundaria (2.81). Concluye que el recreo activo de mente plena getra mejor rendimiento académico que el lúdico.
