Tricobezoar como causa de obstrucción intestinal alta

Abstract

Los tricobezoares son cuerpos extraños insólitos compuestos por pelo y alimentos que se impactan y forman un molde dentro del estómago o intestino, y pueden causar una obstrucción intestinal. De esta entidad hay escasos informes en la literatura. Se presenta el caso de una niña de 12 años, con diagnóstico de tricobezoar, manejada quirúrgicamente, con buena evolución. Se revisa esta rara enfermedad y se dan pautas para su diagnóstico y tratamiento.
