English abstract Evidence-based practice has been criticized for emphasizing a view of knowledge that is narrow in scope and instrumental in approach. In the project Youth at flight, researchers collaborated with vulnerable youths and their professional helpers on professional service-development and research. Through a multidisciplinary action research project, we experienced a way of working together that, in many ways, was similar to evidence-based practice. Based on a description of this way of working, here named as evidence-reflected practice, this article examines whether the experience from the project can contribute significant perspectives on how to integrate different sources of knowledge in knowledge-based practice.
