Abstract

The vastly expanding international market and the concurrent increase in the number of MNCs necessitate insight into current management philosophy and how it has been translated into operational terms by MNCs. This article explores the nature of control mechanisms used in integrating worldwide operations, including the degree of home-base control and the type and extent of headquarters9 services.
