El desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa por parte de los estudiantes de espanol como lengua extranjera no puede realizarse sin atender al componente gramatical. La construccion creativa de este complejo sociolinguistico no sera, por tanto, el simple resultado del procesamiento activo de textos orales y escritos en un entorno pedagogico donde se privilegian los objetivos comunicativos sino consecuencia de un equilibrio didactico en que se reconocieran el valor de actividades que provoquen la concienciacion gramatical.
