The biplot of a two-way table is discussed as a diagnostic tool for investigating bilinear models with additive terms for rows and columns and at least one multiplicative term. The full biplot is three dimensional with the points representing row effects concentrated is a plane orthogonal to another plane containing the points representing the column effects. Projections onto suitable directions in these planes give the row, column and multiplicative constants of the model. Extensions to more complex models, practical details and implications for interactive computer graphics are discussed
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 12 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
