La nueva familia española finisecular: Los García Moreno de la serie "Manolito Gafotas" de Elvira Lindo

Abstract

Avec plus d'un million d'exemplaires vendus, la serie 'Manolito Gafotas' d'Elvira Lindo a ete l'un des phenomenes litteraires les plus importants de la fin du XXeme siecle en Espagne. L'A. etudie ici la representation des familles qui apparaissent dans les six volumes de la serie. De la tradition realiste, ces livres heritent une attitude qui n'est ni prescriptrive, ni descriptrive, il s'agit d'une fiction destinee a expliquer l'anxiete que la modernite genere dans la societe contemporaine. Il aborde alors la question de la definition de la famille qui se deduit de celles apparaissant dans la serie. Ensuite il analyse la deconstruction qui est operee dans 'Manolito' du processus qui aboutit a devenir un adulte espagnol, et les implications ideologiques que cette deconstruction souleve. Ce travail se fonde sur l'etude sociologique d'Ines Alberdi sur la famille espagnole et sur l'etude semiologique realisee sur le personnage argentin de Mafalda par David William Foster
