Abstract

To aid health professionals, especially pediatricians, in the diagnosis and prevention of language and learning disorders.Review of the relevant literature published in the past 5 years (MEDLINE and textbooks).Multiple variables, among them neurological diseases, may be related to the etiology of language and learning disorders.An adequate diagnostic investigation may guide the choice of treatment.
