Abstract

<p>El objeto de este trabajo es mostrar la revisión documental hecha entorno al problema del acoso entre iguales, el cual es de gran interés en Colombia y toda América Latina; debido que en los últimos tiempos se ha incrementado, especialmente el denominado ciberbuylling. Lo anterior trajo impactos negativos de índole social y psicológico para los afectados que en su mayoría son pre-adolecente y adolescentes. Se utilizó el método hermenéutico, tomando como insumo bases de datos indexadas tales como Scopus, Scylo, Proquest,<br />Sciencedirect, Google Acdemic, y la Web. Las fuentes primarias son artículos de revistas indexadas y documentos de investigadores de los de América Latina y España. Finalmente, se concluye en la necesidad que los organismos de control del estado generen métodos efectivos que permitan prevenir este tipo de prácticas en las instituciones educativas, debido a que las lesiones psicológicas y morales que están produciendo han desencadenado en decisiones nefastas para los jóvenes y niños, que al verse ridiculizados en público llegan hasta el suicidio, convirtiéndose este en un problema de salud pública.</p>
