LGBTI+ Versus LGBTI+®: Publicidade, Consumerismo Político e Orgulho na Marcha 2022

Abstract

Este artigo busca refletir sobre o papel do cidadão-consumidor no espaço público e suas manifestações de consumismo político (Stolle & Micheletti, 2013) durante a “Marcha do Orgulho” LGBTI+, realizada em junho de 2022, no Porto. Com cartazes utilizados como suporte comunicacional, os mani-festantes expressaram seus interesses políticos e sociais contra as mar-cas. Com base na análise sociossemiótica visual (Kress & van Leeuwen, 2006), examinamos as ações dos manifestantes. As observações efetuadas indiciaram um eventual efeito reverso em relação à publicidade e ao con-sumo, permitindo traçar perspetivas sobre a participação do consumidor--cidadão na marcha, bem como as consequências das práticas discursivas da chamada “publicidade ativista”, resultando numa crítica participativa e performática à apropriação das agendas dos movimentos sociais.
