Since the beginning year 1699 when the Ottoman Empire as the last representative of Islamic civilization lost great fields in the face of the Western world, one of the great concerns of the Muslims or Muslims thinkers has been the revival movement, meaning to return to the “golden age”. However a concrete solution to the loss has, unfortunately not been found yet because revival is not an easy task to be carried out. One of the projects proposed as a solution is the construction of “Islamic Modernity”. In this study, arguments regarding “Islamic Modernity” are aimed to be discussed.
