Abstract

Au Nouvel Empire durant la nuit du 25 au 26 Khoiak, Thebes propose une jonction entre Horus, manifestation de la renaissance solaire et Osiris-Sokar garant des richesses de la terre. Les oignons sont le vecteur de cette reunion. Le point de depart de cette jonction est Sokar dont l'action repose en partie sur le monde vegetal. Les oignons sont son moyen d'action durant cette nuit, fin de l'annee-Nouvel-An, periodes toujours dangereuses pour l'equilibre cosmique. L'oignon qui pousse en meme temps sous terre, sur terre et au-dessus de la terre evoque parfaitement les capacites de Sokar, etre chthonien habitant la Douat, mais intervenant dans le surgissement de la « Premiere fois » et prenant souvent la forme de faucon celeste
