Abstract

PESCE* Misidacei cavernicoli italiani (Crustacea, Peracarida) A110 stato attuale delle nostre conoscenze risuitano comp1essi- vamente note 23 specie ipogee delle circa 750 (marine e du1cacqui- cole) attribuite a11’intero ordine dei Misidacei, Di queste, alcune presentano un elevate grado di specializzazione e di adattamento a11’habitat acquatico sotterraneo, potendosi considerare veri e propri stigobionti (Stygz'o77zysis /oydrzmtirza Caroli, Stygz'o77zy:z's /aolzf/misi Gordon, S pelczeomysis qzzmterezzxis (Villalobos), etc.), altre risultano meno specializzate 0 di pin recente imrnigrazione nei biotopi sot- terranei (Spelczeoflzysis servcztzzs (Fage), Spelaeomysis bottazzii Caroli, Azztromysis cemotemis Creaser, etc.), aitre, infine, sono da consi- derarsi eiernenti stigosseni, invasori occasionali dei sistemi idri- ci sotterranei 0 di ambienti assimilabili a quelli ipogei (Spelczeomysis cardixonzae Bowman, Heter0I7zy$0z'dex sporzgicola Bacescu, Siriellzz czrmatcz Milne—Edwards, etc.). Nei loro complesso, comunque, i misidacei sotterranei rappresentano un gruppo di antico insediamento neile acque ipogee, con una rnarcata concentrazione di specie sti- gobionti ne11’area centro—americana. Per quanto riguarda 1’origine, per la maggior parte risultano fiiogeneticamente ricollegabili a forrne marine, come pub rilevarsi dai fatto che gran parte delle specie sotterranee conserva un eievato grade di eurialinitei, potendosi rinvenire in acque completamente dolci, in acque debolmente salmastre, in acque la cui salinitfi risulta molto vicina a quelia marina, come pure in acque propriamente marine in qualite di ospiti preadattati aila vita nei sistemi idri~ q Istituto di Zoologia de11’Universitz‘1 di L’Aqui1a.
