Revisión de literatura sobre mejora continua en MIPYMEs iberoamericanas

Abstract

Este artículo presenta una revisión sistemática cualitativa de literatura de investigacio - nes aplicadas de mejora continua en MIPYMEs iberoamericanas y busca responder las siguientes preguntas: ¿cuáles son sus características (objetivos investigados, tipo y método de investigación y poblaciones donde se realizan)? y ¿cuáles son los hallazgos encontrados? Los resultados analizan catorce investigaciones aplicadas cuyos objetivos de investigación se agrupan en tres temáticas principales: sostenibilidad, productividad e implementación. El 43% de las investigaciones son cualitativas y usan los métodos de caso de estudio y entrevistas, y un 43% son de enfoque cuantitativo y utilizan mé - todos de encuesta y cuestionario. La población más estudiada fueron las empresas, con 42.8%, y el país donde más se han realizado este tipo de investigaciones es España, con 35.7%. Los hallazgos incluyen identificación de barreras y facilitadores, niveles para su sostenibilidad, herramientas y técnicas con que se implementan, algunos relacionados con la productividad y con aspectos de abandono en su implementación.
