Latihan aktivitas air untuk terapi saraf terjepit

Abstract

Saraf terjepit merupakan kondisi medis yang umum terjadi, terutama pada individu yang sering melakukan aktivitas berat tanpa memperhatikan postur tubuh. Salah satu metode terapi yang dapat membantu meredakan gejala dan meningkatkan mobilitas pasien adalah latihan aktivitas air atau terapi akuatik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas latihan aktivitas air dalam terapi saraf terjepit dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Direct Interaction dan Practice Style.Model Direct Interaction memberikan bimbingan langsung kepada pasien dalam melakukan latihan secara optimal dan aman, sementara Practice Style mendorong kemandirian pasien dalam menjalankan terapi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan aktivitas air dapat mengurangi tekanan pada saraf yang terjepit melalui sifat daya apung dan tekanan hidrostatik air, yang membantu mengurangi rasa sakit serta meningkatkan fleksibilitas dan kekuatan otot pasien.Selain itu, penerapan model Hybrid Adaptif, yang mengombinasikan kedua metode tersebut, memberikan hasil yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien terhadap terapi serta mempercepat pemulihan. Dengan demikian, terapi aktivitas air dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dan aman bagi penderita saraf terjepit, sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka.
