Matrimonio y mercado matrimonial: reflexiones sobre la endogamia

Abstract

Trabajo realizado gracias a la concesión de la Beca de la Fundación Fernando Valhondo Calaff de Cáceres. Asimismo, este trabajo se inserta dentro del Proyecto de Investigación «Familia y comunidad rural: Mecanismos de protección comunitaria en el interior Peninsular (ss.XVIII-1900)», referencia HAR2013-48901-C6-5-R, financiado por el Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación y cuyo Investigador Principal es José Pablo Blanco Carrasco.

El presente trabajo aborda el estudio de la endogamia y exogamia matrimonial de una localidad rural cacereña a lo largo del período de tiempo comprendido entre 1750-1850, con el fin de describir, analizar y establecer hasta qué punto podemos considerar como exogámicos aquellos matrimonios que se producen entre personas de municipios próximos.
