Une enquête sérologique a été réalisée sur la pathologie aviaire en milieu rural au Niger. Elle a permis de déterminer la fréquence et l'importance de la pullorose (47 p. 100), de la pasteurellose (48 p. 100), de la maladie de Gumboro (47 p. 100) et de la maladie de Newcastle (14 p. 100 chez les non vaccinés et 63 p. 100 chez les vaccinés).
