In language teaching, action oriented approach which is originated from CEFL (common European framework for languages) and includes the usage of educational technologies appears as a contemporary approach. Educational technologies are required to be seen as a tool, a support and an aim to be able to be used in classes naturally. This research aims to analyze the usage of interactive whiteboards’ level of satisfaction of requirements in action oriented approach. For this purpose, interaction types of the tool subjecting to the research are thematized. ENST’s categories related to the interaction are used for this thematization. After the finding of interactive whiteboards’ being insufficient when used alone, the interactions in the situation when interactive whiteboards are connected to touch pads is analyzed within the frame of Theory of Didactical Situations and the notion of Milieu. As a result, it has been found that the created system is satisfying in providing the interaction that action oriented approach requires in classes in which French is taught as a foreign language
