Abstract

The topic of the final qualifying work: «Russian foreign policy in Central Asia in the XXI century».This work is devoted to identifying the role and place of Central Asia in Russia's foreign policy. Tasks that were solved during the study:1) analyze Russia's foreign policy and its priorities in relation to the Central Asian states;2) to investigate the process of formation of the Central Asian vector of Russia's foreign policy (the Eurasian concept) in comparison with the Central Asian foreign policy courses of the United States and China;3) analyze Russia's regional cooperation with the Central Asian states;4) to identify the problems and prospects of the foreign policy of Russia and Central Asia in the field of security. The increasing role of Central Asia in large areas also largely determines the relevance of deepening the scientific-conceptual and predictive-strategic perception of the past, modern and future interaction of Central Asian countries with the Russian Federation, Russia's policy in the region, comparative analysis of Russian and Chinese factors. In turn, the Central Asian direction objectively remains one of the key ones in the foreign policy of the Russian Federation itself, and this seems natural, given the location of the region in the center of Eurasia - at the junction of geography and interests not only of Russia and China, but also of many other international actors.
