Abstract

Bu makalenin amacı, Avrupa’da son zamanlarda artış gösteren İslamofobi ve Anti-İslamizm bağlamında Müslümanlara yönelik İslam karşıtı söylemlerin Norveç toplumundaki yansımalarını analiz etmektir. Bu çerçevede çalışmada, yakın tarihsel zemin dikkate alınarak önce Norveç’te ifade ve din özgürlüğü konusu ele alınmış, akabinde İslam’ın nasıl algılandığı ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Daha sonra İslamofobi’nin genel perspektiften tarihsel gelişimi üzerinde durularak, Norveç’te ırkçı ve dışlayıcıcı İslam karşıtı söylemler ve bunları besleyen sosyo-politik unsurlara dikkat çekilmiştir. Bu söylemler ile Norveç toplumunu derinden etkileyen “2006 Karikatür Krizi” ve “2011 Berwick Terör Saldırısı” gibi iki önemli olay arasındaki bağlantılar üzerinde durulmuş, her bir olayın Norveç toplumundaki etkileri ve Müslümanlara yönelik yansımaları incelenmiştir.
