Abstract

O presente trabalho é uma entrevista realizada em Havana com Lourdes Cervantes, chefa política da Organização de Solidariedade dos Povos da Ásia, África e América Latina (OSPAAAL) em julho de 2012. O objetivo da conversa foi problematizar a história da OSPAAAL como uma “internacional dos países subdesenvolvidos” na trajetória geopolítica do hemisfério Sul. Além disso, indagou-se sobre o papel que a revolução cubana desempenhou nessa articulação, sobre as intenções e etapas políticas que marcaram sua história e sobre as contradições experimentadas pelos movimentos de emancipação nacional que chegaram ao poder entre os anos 1960 e 1990. A entrevistadora é Joana Salém Vasconcelos, que investigou a história agrária da revolução cubana em sua pesquisa de mestrado no IE/UNICAMP.
