Adubação borácica na cultura do girassol.

Abstract

Objetivou-se com essa pesquisa avaliar cinco doses de boro nas características de produção de plantas de girassol, cultivar Catissol 01, no distrito de irrigação Tabuleiro de Russas. O experimento foi conduzido em blocos ao acaso com cinco tratamentos e cinco repetições, totalizando 25 unidades experimentais. Os tratamentos consistiram da aplicação de 1; 2; 3; 4 e 5 kg ha-1 de boro, de maneira convencional, sendo todo na fundação. Avaliaram-se as características referentes a produção (massa de 1000 aquênios, massa média dos aquênios por capítulo, produtividade potencial de aquênios, teor de óleo dos aquênios e produtividade potencial de óleo). Os dados das variáveis avaliadas foram submetidos à análise de variância pelo teste F, e quando verificado efeito significativo, foram comparados através da análise de regressão. Todas as variáveis analisadas apresentaram inferência estatística frente as dosagens de boro estudadas, menos a interação entre altura da planta e diâmetro do caule e as épocas de avaliação, bem como a massa de 1000 aquênios e o teor de óleo dos aquênios. A altura de planta e o diâmetro do caule foram influenciados significativamente pelas doses de boro e pela época de coleta dos dados, mas não pela interação variável versus época de coleta. A dose de 4 kg ha-1 de boro maximizou a massa média de aquênios, a produtividade potencial de aquênios e o potencial de produção de óleo
