Abstract

RESUMEN Actualmente las TIC están presentes en diferentes actividades del ser humano, una de ellas es en el gobierno, a partir de ello el estudio tiene como objetivo analizar el gobierno digital de una municipalidad provincial del centro del Perú desde la percepción de sus ciudadanos. La investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño transversal descriptivo. La muestra lo conformaron 174 ciudadanos de una provincia de la región central del Perú. El instrumento para el recojo de datos fue un cuestionario sobre gobierno digital compuesta por cuatro dimensiones. Los resultados evidencian que el 55.7% de ciudadanos perciben que el gobierno digital implementado por el municipio en estudio es deficiente. Asimismo, en las dimensiones evaluadas los resultados son similares: externa (62.1%), interna (58.0%), relacional (57.5%) y promocional (60.3%). En conclusión, los ciudadanos perciben que el gobierno digital implementado por el municipio en estudio es deficiente y por tanto se requiere reformular el plan de gobierno digital (PGD). ABSTRACT ICTs are currently present in different human activities, one of them is in the government, from this study aims to analyze the digital government of a provincial municipality in central Peru from the perception of its citizens. The research has a quantitative approach, with a descriptive cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 174 citizens of a province in the central region of Peru. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire on digital government composed of four dimensions. The results show that 55.7% of citizens perceive that the digital government implemented by the municipality under study is deficient. Likewise, in the evaluated dimensions the results are similar: external (62.1%), internal (58.0%), relational (57.5%) and promotional (60.3%). In conclusion, citizens perceive that the digital government implemented by the municipality under study is deficient and therefore it is required to reformulate the digital government plan (PGD).
