Abstract

Este artigo tem como objetivo destacar a necessidade de ampliação das discussões a respeito da Tecnologia Assistiva, nos diversos espaços acadêmicos e sociais. Para isso, faz uma revisão sobre o tema, destacando os fatores que têm contribuído para sua emergência na atualidade, bem como a evolução conceitual que tem sofrido e as relações que se estabelecem com as Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação.
