Talleres comunitarios de artes y oficios: una propuesta para el rescate de los patrimonios de los grupos artesanales, el caso del cantón de Pococí. Limón. Costa Rica

Abstract

Este artículo presenta un primer apartado en el cual se reseña la creación de los Talleres Comunitarios de Artes y Oficios en la Sede del Atlántico de la Universidad de Costa Rica, especialmente la experiencia desarrollada en el Recinto de Guápiles y el fundamento teórico que los sustenta. Un segundo segmento expone las diferentes metodologías empleadas y sus principales resultados. Las más representativas son los talleres participativos que han permitido documentar el estado de la labor artesanal del cantón y, la coordinación institucional que ha facilitado que otros académicos aporten al proyecto mediante las capacitaciones impartidas a los grupos artesanales. También se han aplicado encuestas, revisión de fuentes orales que han proporcionado información relevante sobre las costumbres y tradiciones de los primeros pobladores. Además, se detallan las actividades que se han realizado en las ferias, para rescatar las tradiciones de las comunidades. Por último, se presenta una sección de consideraciones finales a cerca del trabajo de los Talleres Comunitarios
